The R9 fairway woods are great woods from a leader in wood design but the club should be reserved for good players. The adjustable settings sound great but should be determined for your game by a professional.
Always had a problem with the 3 wood and havn’t had one that I trust in a long time. I recently upgraded my driver to an R9 460 TP and really like it. I found this R9 Fairway Wood marked down as a trade-in and decided to give it a try. I had two questions heading to the range, being a strong 3 will I be able to get it up in the air, and can I find a setting with the FCT that works for me? I am pleased to report the answer to both questions is yes. The 13* launches a little higher and much longer than my TM V-Steel 15*, and set one click to the left I’m hitting it very straight and consistent. I was prepared to reshaft if necessary but am pleased with the Fujikura Motore 70 S that came in the club.
